COVID-19 Update

6 Feb 2021

COVID-19 Update: Post Lock Down Status

As Vets are classed as an Essential Service, WE ARE STILL OPEN our usual hours!

To comply with the Australian Government Department of Health requirements, our hospitals have implemented rules and regulations regarding Social Distancing and Hygiene:

– MASKS are now MANDATORY and MUST be worn when entering the hospital.

– Upon entry into the hospital, please use the hand sanitiser supplied before a approaching the reception desk and stand behind the blue lines marked.

– Please check in to the Safe WA App when entering the hospital or sign the register on the desk to help contact tracing if needed.

– We can only allow FIVE clients in the Waiting Room at Forrestfield Vet Hospital at one time and FOUR clients in the Waiting Room at High Wycombe Vet Hospital at one time. You will simply be required to wait outside if the waiting room is at maximum capacity according to regulations.

– We can only have ONE client in the Consulting Room with the Vet at one time.

– Cashless payments are preferred to help minimise the spread.

– If possible, please phone ahead if you require food, medication or preventative
health and we will have them ready for you to minimise waiting times.

IMPORTANT NOTICE (if any of the below applies to you, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER the hospital. Instead, please phone us for advice and we can make a plan for you and your pet to be seen to) :
-If you have been traveling in the last 14 days;
-If you are experiencing symptoms of fever, coughing or sore throat;
-If you are required to self-isolate or quarantine;
-If you have been in contact with a confirmed POSITIVE case of COVID-19;

We are working hard to ensure we can continue to provide complete veterinary
care for our patients and clients.

Thank you for your understanding and your co-operation.

As this situation is rapidly evolving, we will provide updates as required.

With you every step along the way

The practice was initially established in 1981 at our Forrestfield location and the High Wycombe premises opened in 1983. With an immense wealth of combined experience from our long term veterinary staff, we have been servicing the vet needs of the community for many years and will continue to do so in the future.

Our team of dedicated vets and nurses, led by Dr Neville Hoes and Dr Gavin Davison, take pride in delivering a very high standard of veterinary medicine and surgery.

From the initial consultation, to explaining laboratory or X-ray results, and at every step along the way, we take the time to explain your pet’s issues to you. Together, we can make the best possible decisions for your pet’s health.
