Puppy School in Wattle Grove

It’s now widely accepted that early socialising of puppies between 8 and 16 weeks of age is important in the development of their social skills and can help with both the confidence to meet other dogs, as well as other people. The lessons learned during this time can benefit them throughout their life and increase the chance of a well balanced, well behaved pup for the future.

That’s why Forrestfield & High Wycombe Vet Hospitals run “Puppy Preschool Classes” regularly throughout the year.

The course consists of weekly sessions, over a 4 week period and are held at our Forrestfield Vet Hospital on weekends.

The main focus of Puppy Preschool Classes is to let puppies socialize by playing together in a safe and non-threatening environment. The pups will also be taught basic commands and puppy owners have an opportunity to learn about the puppy health care and catch up on the latest advice and products.

It’s fun for both you and your pup!

The cost for the 4 week course is $130 per puppy.

Bookings are essential, pups MUST have had their first vaccination before they can attend, and must be on a collar and lead.

The basic course outline is:

Week 1: Puppy socialisation benefits, Vaccination and Worming, Discipline and Learning to “Sit”.

Week 2: Managing behaviours, Puppy Nutrition, Dental Care and Learning “Stay”.

Week 3: Children & Dogs, Sterilisation Benefits, Pet Insurance and Learning “Come”.

Week 4: Grooming & Nails, Course review and Graduation!

Please give us a call to find out when the next course is being run.

Absolutely brilliant. Compassionate professionals really do go out of their way to meet the needs of our pets. Their great prices don’t reflect the quality of their work. You are amazing. Thank you.
